On the way up in Macau |
During a recent weekend break in nearby Macau, we were walking round near when the dragon boats had take place earlier that day and stopped by the Macau tower. It was quite different from when I was last there, as an adventure company has been bought in to transform the tower. There was a bungee jump, a lift to take you right to the top for a walk in the clouds, a wire slide thing and a climbing wall. I couldn't resist having a go, as I used to be a member of a climbing club in the UK. So, I can now say I've climbed the tallest building in Macau. Here's photographic evidence!
I'm hoping to start climbing in Hong Kong soon, as there are quite a few decent walls. But it will have to wait until after our holiday which starts tomorrow.
