The original hip hop
This is a video of a guitar duo from New Zealand performing one of their songs. 'Hiphopopotamus' and his sidekick 'Rhymenocerous', as they like to be known, claim to have started hip hop with their mate Steve in 2001, and this song is their proof.
The best bit is when Hiphopopotamus says his lyrics are bottomless, and then proceeds to run out of words! One of the most hilarious songs we've heard in ages. High praise, indeed. Check it out and you'll see what we mean. It's a take on hiphop, so the language is a little... hiphop-esque.
Just to add Mike's been off sick for part of this week and this video certainly helped cheer him up! So for all our friends out there who are going down with the same bug (there's quite a few of you), this one goes out to you. Yeah. Ah ha. Yeah. Yep. Yes. Ok, I'll see you on Tuesday.
