Roboland experiences roboclosure |
We were going to take some friends, Matt & Erika, to the Robot Kitchen yesterday (we blogged about it ages back), for a farewell dinner. But sadly it seems to have shut!
We didn't actually make it to the shopping centre, to see for ourselves. But their website is down, one HK food website says it is closed, and they are no longer listed in directory enquiries. It could be the robots have taken over or they've all left on holiday. But most likely it wasn't quite the money making idea they hoped. If anyone else knows different, do let us know!
Instead, we went to a fine Australian establishment called Ned Kelly's, with rather unusual 'Australian' food. For example, Erika had a Gundagai tuckerbox! Never seen it on offer in Australia, but it sure looked good.
We still had a good time, without the robots. But was a bit sad, saying farewell. Go well, Matt & Erika. It's been fun, but we're gonna miss you guy guys! Look out San Diego!!
p.s. Quick plug: Check out Erika's awesome jewellery (is that spelled write? :) in action!
